My husband and I regularly hang out at home and building products shows. He’s in the industry, so he always want to see what is cutting edge and new in the field. I actually learn a lot and can have a pretty intelligent conversation about what it is that he does in his everyday life. It’s not glamorous, but it does get me a little bit of attention with the guys.

I have a friend who is an avid gardener. She always has the earliest and the latest crops. I asked her what her secret was and she told me that she starts things early in her greenhouse and is able to keep them longer in there, even after frosts. I was intrigued by that idea but I rent the house that I live in so I did not think something like that would be feasible. That is when she told me about portable greenhouses. That sounded like something that might work for me, so I have been looking into them online.

So far I have found several different options. There are pop up greenhouses, there is a portable garden greenhouse, and a collapsible greenhouse. Those all seem like they would be good options for me. I would like something so that if and when I move, I can just take it with me. Portable greenhouses are definitely the best option for me. I think that they would be the perfect size for me as well. I am just getting started with gardening, so something smaller would make more sense. If I am good at it, I might want to get two some day.

My dad is an architect and we went straight to him when we wanted our house built. He’s an architect after the old school and still does all his engineering by hand. I don’t even think he owns a CAD program. He keeps templates for all the standard shapes like windows and bathtub designs. You’d think drawing soaking tubs on graph paper with a pencil would slow him down, but he works really fast and does amazing work. It would actually probably take him so much time to learn to CAD with a computer that it just isn’t worth it to him. He’s retired from government work now, but still does house plans on the side.

I’ve got a bee in my bonnet lately about Prefabricated Steel Buildings.
I’ve got too much junk to store and not enough space for it.
I’ve been reading up on Mueller Metal Building online, and have found some decent prospects.
It looks like I’ll be able to expand within my budget. At least I hope so.
